Executive members of the Board are key leaders who actively participate in decision-making and oversee the organization’s strategic direction. The Past President (or Past Chair) plays a crucial role in supporting the transition to new leadership, ensuring a smooth handover of responsibilities to the incoming Chair. Past Chair provide guidance, mentorship, and continuity during the leadership transition, leveraging their experience to offer strategic insights and ensure organizational stability. Additionally, the Past President may continue to serve as a resource to the Board, offering historical context and supporting long-term goals.
